HerCAREER launched digital trade fair matching for the trade fair in October 2019 , which was awarded the German Excellence Prize 2020 . The trade fair organizer has now further developed the innovative technology into a new job matching platform. Since the underlying matching algorithm is primarily based on the candidate’s competencies, the technology can help reduce unconscious prejudices among recruiters regarding names, origins or specific educational institutions.
